Libby  has been playing the piano since the age of three. She studied initially with Miss Eileen Rowe in Ealing, and later with Vanessa Latarche. She studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire under the tutelage of Philip Martin and John Humphreys. She completed her Masters in performance with Merit  from Trinity college of music in July 2011.

Libby has received valuable tuition in masterclasses from Stephen Hough, Mikhail Kazakevich, Peter Donohoe, Ruth Gerald, Eugene Asti  and Martino Tirimo.

Since childhood she has played in competitions around the country. Among her awards are the Sir Keith Stuart prize for the most promising pianist in the Marlow Music Festival, the Millicent Ward Rose Bowl, twice, for the most outstanding performance in senior classes at the Ruislip-Northwood Festival, and the accompaniment prize in the accompaniment for the English Song Prize 2008 at the Birmingham Conservatoire. In May 2009 she reached the National Finals of the EPTA Piano Competition, which took place in May and in which she was awarded with a Highly Commended.  

Her most recent performance venues include St Martin in the Fields, The Sloane Club, St Anne’s, Kew, St Barnabus, Ealing, and the Madrid Royal Conservatoire.   

As well as a soloist, Libby is also a keen accompanist. Working both with singers and instrumentalists. Libby has accompanied in a number of competitions including the Bromsgrove International Musicians competition, the Somerset Song Prize, and the Ruislip and Northwood Music Festival.Libby also regularly accompanies exams for both  Trinity and ABRSM graded exams.
